YST (Youth Study Tour) Host

In designated years, Ohio 4-H families have the special opportunity to host a delegate from another country.  In the past, groups of approximately 25 youth and their adult chaperones have come from a variety of countries.  Each member of the delegation is placed with an accepted host family based on preferences and interests.  The hosting period is three weeks and for the adult chaperones, it is usually split between two families. 

Typically, Ohio will host a Youth Study Tour delegation on odd numbered years.  The exchange is announced in January in the International Programs Booklet.
