Case
Studies
Over the past year, the
Ohio State University Extension Risk Management
Task Force went through an extensive process
to identify current and future risks to our
organization and develop/identify resources
to manage those risks. One of the primary
management techniques identified was the
development and dissemination of educational
materials for faculty and staff to use in
their local, district, and statewide training. One
method of educating individuals on the potential
risks associated with community-based educational
programs is through the use of case studies. There
are a series of nine case studies developed
that are applicable to all Extension program
areas as well as four additional specific
to resident camp programs.
