- Probation for the volunteer(s);
- Suspend the volunteer(s);
or
- Dismiss the volunteer(s)
- Follow organizational policies
and procedures
- Be consistent when dealing
with inappropriate behaviors
- Move ahead at an appropriate
pace
- Consider potentially libel
situations and discuss with supervisor and legal
counsel
- Anticipate how the volunteer
will react
- Communicate with the volunteer
and all appropriate people
- Deal with others (media, other
volunteers, parents, youth, etc.)
- Seek assistance from supervisors
and peers
