How You Can Invest in 4-H . . . Invest in Youth

Your support is vital to our success!

All gifts to Ohio 4-H are a direct investment in youth, and the income is used throughout the state to support a dynamic 4-H program.

The Ohio 4-H Foundation Endowment, established in 1946, was created as a permanent investment in 4-H Youth Development. Interest earned from the Endowment provides education, incentives, training, and personal development programs for 4-H members and volunteers throughout Ohio.

Contributions may also be designated to a specific 4-H program area, county endowments or other activities.

Contributions to Ohio 4-H can be made several ways:

Current Gifts Planned Gifts
  Cash   Life Insurance
  Property   Wills / Bequests
  Corporate Matching gifts   Memorials
  Securities   Charitable Trusts / Annuities
  Ambassador training

Your gift to Ohio 4-H could be doubled or even tripled if your company matches charitable gifts. To see if your employer is among the more than 1,000 matching gift companies, check with your personnel office. Complete the necessary form and return it with your gift.

Gifts to The Ohio 4-H Foundation are recognized by The Ohio State University Development Fund. Those who invest $2,500 or more annually in the 4-H Foundation are eligible for membership in The Ohio State University Presidents Club.

In addition, the Ohio 4-H Foundation recognizes contributors through the following donor clubs:

  A.B. Graham Club
$1,000 annual gift with pledge for 10 consecutive years, or $50,000 through a bequest, life insurance, or a trust for life membership.
  Platinum Clover Club
$1,000-$9,999 annual gift.
  Gold Clover Club
$500-$999 annual gift.
  Silver Clover Club
$100-$499 annual gift
  Green Clover Club

Many large gifts (especially those  involving real estate, collectibles, trusts and bequests) involve detailed planning. The Foundation welcomes the opportunity to work with donors and their investment advisors or attorneys in such planning.
