Instructions for downloading the 2004 Project Codes File
*This is not a mandatory update! If you have made the changes to the project codes file on your own - then you will not need to add this file. Keep in mind that any county projects that you have entered on your own will be over-written by using this file - you are free to add those county projects back into this file after you have performed the following steps
*BACKUP your files before performing this operation
1. Determine your Youth Enrollment data path: Open Youth Enrollment | the data path will be listed at the bottom of the program | make a note of this location (you will need to save the file to this location in step 2).
2. Start the download by clicking the link below | you will be prompted for a "save in" location (this window allows you to browse to your data path location) | once you have navigated to the proper data path location - click save.
3. After downloading the file, open Youth Enrollment | Click Utilities | File Utilities | in the window that opens locate the file named "youth2c.db" and click it 1 time | Click File - Recreate Indexes - OK | Click OK on the message window indicating that the indexes have been recreated. Congratulations - you have updated your project codes file!
