Cloverbud Resources

See below for a wealth of materials that support volunteers who are Ohio 4-H Cloverbud Club leaders! Curriculum, volunteer training, kits, and new resources are all included. Materials can be ordered or downloaded as indicated.

Ohio's 4-H Cloverbud Program Manuals

The Ohio 4-H Cloverbud materials include short term, fun, cooperative, noncompetitive activities that can be used by adult volunteers with Cloverbud children (ages 5-8) to help them gain self-confidence, experience achievement, and develop positive attitudes.

The Cloverbud activities enable adult volunteers to promote life skills in children through subject areas of science and technology, community expressive arts, healthy life style, environmental/earth science, personal development, citizenship/civic education, consumerism/family science, and plants and animals. There are 24 curriculum pieces in the set (3 in each of the 8 subject areas) with about 9 activities per curriculum piece.

Cloverbud Farms at the Fair

Greg Siek, Extension Educator in Cuyahoga County, developed this 4-H Cloverbud resource to help involve 4-H Cloverbud members in a fair setting. It is a helpful resource that works well for getting 4-H Cloverbud kids engaged in fair activities, while meeting the 4-H Cloverbud program guidelines and goals.
